What is OPPS?
OPPS delivers the schadenfreude you crave. Track your football rivals and get instant notifications when bad things happen to them: goals conceded, red cards, losses, and more.
Pick up to 10 teams you love to see struggle. From local derbies to bitter European rivalries, OPPS has you covered.
Do I need to create an account?
No account required. OPPS uses anonymous authentication, so you can start tracking rivals immediately. Your rival list stays on your device.
Is OPPS free?
Yes! The free tier includes:
- Track 1 rival team
- 2 event types: Full-Time Loss and Rivals Draw (when rivals face each other)
- 1 voice style: Dry (straight facts)

What do I get with OPPS Pro?
OPPS Pro unlocks the full schadenfreude experience:
- Track up to 10 teams instead of just 1
- All 8 event types: Full-Time Loss, Rivals Draw, Goal Conceded, Red Card, Penalty Conceded, VAR Overturned, Cup Elimination, Relegation Zone
- All 6 notification voices: Dry, Petty, Ultra-Polite, Football Pundit, Teletext, Shakespearean
- Arch Rival spotlight: Designate one team as your main rival for extra focus
- No QFAX banner: Clean home screen
What are the notification voices?
- Dry: Straight facts, no emotion
- Petty: Snarky and delightfully mean
- Ultra-Polite: Overly apologetic and formal
- Football Pundit: Analysis and criticism
- Teletext: Classic BBC Ceefax style
- Shakespearean: Theatrical and dramatic
Free users get the Dry voice. All other voices require OPPS Pro.
What events can I get notified about?
- Full-Time Loss: Team loses at full-time (Free)
- Rivals Draw: Neither rival wins when they face each other (Free)
- Goal Conceded: Team concedes a goal (Pro)
- Red Card: Team receives a red card (Pro)
- Penalty Conceded: Team concedes a penalty (Pro)
- VAR Overturned: Team's goal overturned by VAR (Pro)
- Cup Elimination: Team eliminated from cup competition (Pro)
- Relegation Zone: Team enters relegation zone (Pro)
Subscriptions & Billing
How do I manage my subscription?
You can manage your OPPS Pro subscription directly through your device:
- iOS: Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > OPPS
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > OPPS
From there you can cancel, change plans, or update payment methods.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, not directly by us. To cancel:
- iOS: Go to Settings > Your Name > Subscriptions > OPPS > Cancel Subscription
- Android: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > OPPS > Cancel
You'll keep OPPS Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
I have a billing issue or need a refund
Since subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google, you'll need to contact them directly for billing issues or refund requests:
- Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
- Google: Google Play Refund Support
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Your subscription is linked to your Apple ID or Google account. Simply:
- Install OPPS on your new device
- Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account
- Open OPPS and go to Settings
- Tap "Restore Purchases"
Your OPPS Pro access should be restored automatically.
Privacy & Data
What data does OPPS collect?
OPPS is privacy-first. We collect minimal data:
- Device ID: Anonymous identifier for your device
- Push Token: For notification delivery
- Team Preferences: Which teams you're tracking
- Analytics: Anonymised usage patterns via PostHog
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, or contacts.

How do I delete my data?
Email us at getintouch@withqwerty.com with your request. We'll delete your data within a reasonable time.
Note: Anonymous users without a subscription have their data automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity.
Troubleshooting
I'm not receiving notifications
Check the following:
- Notifications enabled: Go to your device Settings > OPPS > Notifications and make sure they're on
- Teams selected: Make sure you've added at least one rival team to track
- Events enabled: Check that you have event types turned on in the app
- Do Not Disturb: Ensure your device isn't in Do Not Disturb mode
If notifications still aren't working, try reinstalling the app.
The app won't load or crashes
Try these steps:
- Force close the app and reopen it
- Check your internet connection
- Update to the latest version from the App Store or Google Play
- Restart your device
- Reinstall the app (your subscription will restore automatically)

I can't find a team I want to track
OPPS covers 1000+ teams across major leagues and competitions. If you can't find a specific team, it may not be in our current coverage.
Let us know which team you're looking for at getintouch@withqwerty.com and we'll look into adding it.
Accessibility
Does OPPS work with screen readers?
Yes! OPPS has full VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android) support. All interactive elements have descriptive accessibility labels, and the app follows logical navigation patterns.
Can I increase the text size?
OPPS respects your device's Dynamic Type (iOS) and font scaling (Android) settings. Some text may be constrained for design purposes, but the app generally follows your accessibility preferences.
